Watch Description

Today I am presenting another early 1960s Accutron 214 for the Model Archive Data Base. This is a 1961 Bulova Accutron Model 206 Style# 21003. This is the Charcoal or Black Dial variant. Most Advertisements show a Cream Dial Model 205 Style #21002 and reference the Black or Charcoal dial. The movement is correctly dated (M1) 1961 and has been serviced and running very well. This watch also sports the correct early Applied Logo Stainless Steel  Kreisler Coffin Link Bracelet.

This watch took me quite a while to hunt down as it's probably one of the first all Stainless steel Accutrons produced being dated 1961. These Turtle Lug cases are famous for the Spaceview "B" Yellow Dot model but those showed up in 1962. The Model 205 & 206 seem to have been introduced very early and show up on the 1961 Bulova Price List. This Model 206 is in very nice shape and is not for sale and will stay in my collection. I do have some reference info to post but I don't have a Line Catalog reference image for this watch. I know they made these for several years as this Model still shows up in the 1964 Bulova Price List. If you can find a Line Catalog image, that would be great. Thanks and enjoy!

Fantastic! Thanks for the Line Catalog reference. Interesting how they were reworking the later-year Style numbers.
