This watch is very similar to one listed as a 1959 Bulova 30 on this website, the only difference being the hands. It appears that the ends of the very thin hands have lume on them, corresponding to dots on the dial. Movement is 10BZAC and notes 6 adjustments on the winder. I could not find a date code on it. Case has a very tightly fitted snap on back, which has no obvious notch for lifting and is hence quite damaged (not by me). Inside the cover it reads: "Bulova Fifth Avenue New York" but has no other marks. Exterior reads "M0, 10K RGP, Anti Magnetic, Water Proof, Self Winding, Shock Resistant". I believe some of the 23s had a very similar case. It came with what I assume to be a non-original black leather band, although while photographing it I changed it to a black and gold Spiedel just to see what it looked like. The watch is in poor condition, with a peeling clear coat on the dial and it appears that someone had a soldering accident while wearing it--there were beads of solder all over it. Most popped off, but not all.It runs well although surely needs cleaning. This hadn't seen the light of day in a while, but my teenage son needed a watch with a black dial for a dress event, so I took it out as the one I was least worried about, then decided to do some research. There's no back story on it, it is from eBay a good number of years ago. Putting it here for reference, since there are none exactly like it already listed that I saw.
That is certainly an interesting one. Being the date is 1960, I think it's likely this was just classified as "Bulova 30" perhaps with a variant letter currently unknown.
Appears to be a face color variant of this one
