Sometimes in life you meet some amazing people. I received a package today from a friend in Japan who is working for the US military and who I met about a year ago after I bought a watch from him. We have developed a great email friendship and he is a very generous person and kind of a Bulova nut too. Today was my birthday and a big package came and in it was some watches he helped me service along with a large supply of Japanese snacks. As a gift to me he threw in this amazingly rare Bulova with only one example currently in the database! So unexpected of him and such an amazing Birthday gift. I am so appreciative. Thank you Dave!

Happy birthday! Now on to the watch - wow, congrats! That is a pretty amazing gift and a true serious Bulova collector bucket list model! I like the band choice, it looks strangely familiar. It really sets off the really amazing watch. If you're feeling generous and tire of the watch this week, my birthday is actually next Sunday :o)
