This was my Grandfather's watch. It was working until a few months back. I sent it to Bulova in California and was told they could not be service due to unavailable parts they offered a trade in program.

Welcome and thanks for sharing your heirloom. Can you confirm the date stamps? It appears from photos that case back is stamped "L9" and movement stamped "N0" ?

The case is very distinct and a style "stand alone" identified in the 1957-1959 Linebook as 

Sun Clipper, however the dial doesn't match. I have been unable to match the dial to any other watch model, although it looks very  familiar.

Still looking awaiting date stamp confirmation.

Around 1960, the Sun Clipper dial changed to this version.

1959 case with 1960 movement (N0 is a common mis-stamp for 1960 M0; 11AF series is correct for that year)

1959 Bulova Sun Clipper is a good match.  Many brands no longer service their older watches.  You have to find private watch makers to service them.
