This is a first for the database. It appears to be a 1959 Bulova Sea King "GW" based on the 1958-1959 Line book. The case is quite large but thin and has an interesting construction. The bezel is 10KT rolled yellow gold plate. The back is stainless steel with an L9 date code. The dial is customized at Bulova for Purina Micro Mixed Chow. The movement is an 11AFC with an L7 date code. Forgot to take a picture before putting it back together.

Greetings all – I am new here and have a watch very similar to the one pictured.
The face, hands, and slim profile appear to be exactly the same as my 1959 Sea King, except for the Purina logo. Can anyone tell me if a new crystal (slim profile) is available and point me to where to obtain it?
