I agree, the box is not original to the watch as it has the Accutron symbol on it. They started using this symbol in the early 1960. The watch itself also isn't an Accurton, nor does it have the Accutron symbol anywhere on it.
I'm hoping to find myself an original box for my Chrono 'C". There's plenty of Accutron boxes going on ebay but very hard to find a pre 1960s plain Bulova box, especially for a men's watch.
Getting back to the watch...very nice Wayne. A keeper!
Confirming model and variant from the 1958-1959 Linebook BAWD0136 page 121. It should be noted in all years for this model the white version of this has triangle hour markers at 1/2/4/5/7/8/10/11 while all Black versions have square markers. Although not pictured it is safe to assume based on prior year line books.
