Bulova 23 from me. Looks like "C" (there's some other info on the dial of the "C" ad which isn't on dial of subject watch). Also looks like "other 23's" with a case match, so its challenging to designate which variant. Subject watch next compared to a few early "23" choices for comparison.
The pricelists from 1954/55 list the $71.50 'C' variant as model # 31305; but the 1958 pricelist has this model 31305 renamed to the 'CW' variant, and 'C' is no longer available. I feel the subject watch is a match to the watch in the 'C' ads, but should be 'CW' based on it being from 1959.
The similar looking but different 'G' variant case mentioned by Will should resemble this style of case.
