Love those new ads........

The dial appears to be the difference between the F and H?

Darhin's has the numbering style of the "H", but the text on the dial matches the "F".

I have one with the numbering style that matches the "F", but the text on the dial matches the "H".

Go figure.

Darrin's watch has the H dial and F lugs...

I thought the lugs on the F and H were the same.  No?  Also, note the text above the "6" on his watch.  It matches the "F" ad.  The "H" is like mine and just has "Self Winding" above the 6 position.

Sorry,

Your right, I got it confused with the "D" lugs...all of this Alphabet soup is confusing me tonight, my head is starting to hurt...: D

Going through the ads on site I think the only one I came across with the squiggly lugs and 'Six Adjustments" on the dial was shown in a chrome case. I just got tired of looking at ads and wanted to get the watch uploaded. Thanks Lisa.

I've had the 23 and a Sea King for a few weeks and finally got them cleaned up to take pics. Got a few more over the weekend that I'll be posting in the next couple weeks.

I think the case is the same on both the F & H. My dial appears to combine the F & H dials though. I have the "6 Adjustments" text like the F and numerals at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 like the H.

New member here. Mine is marked 1956 on both movement and case back. Case is WRGP and movement is 3 position adjusted. Dial is black starburst with hour markers like the "F" model but the case design looks like the "H" model. Movement is 23J 10BPAC. I love these old 23J autowind movements. They were extremely durable, reasonably accurate and had a very long power reserve.
