Fabulous 1955 Bulova "23 Calendar", self winding movement. Arrow head tipped red pointer hand indicates date and can be advanced manually by a small pusher above the winding crown.  Two letter day indicator above center point on dial. Dial is near flawless, case is in gorgeous condition with only a couple dings in one of the lugs. Winding crown is marked Bulova. Been looking for a nice one for a good long time, this beauty was well worth the wait!

I added new photos as I have removed the strap in favor of an expansion band. Normally I would stay with the strap but I found this NOS band that is almost a perfect match for the band Bulova advertised this watch on.

23 Calendar. I need an hold down ring with the hole for the date pusher if you have a spare on, or any one else who might have one.

Really fantastic watch Geoff.

23 Calendar from me. I think Admin still has to add that choice to the base model dropdown menue, unless we are using the variant field to enter the Calendar part....which I don't think we are.

Any one have or know some one who has the spacer ring with the hole for the date change and the crown for same. I have this watch and don't have the needed parts mentioned above to finish off this beauty. Please PM me with your answer and I will be happy to negotiate with you or buy outright.
