Watch Description

Just a really gorgeous model.  I think we have a couple of these already in our data base.  Found it in a lot of watches I picked up.

Case is 12 grams of 14K solid gold.  Believe we've got a 1954 Bulova Kenmore.

Lucky You!!  I am going with the case date so 1951 Bulova Kenmore noting possible movement replacement.

That seems like the logical thing to do JimDon. The case is the definitive factor in determining the model name, not the movement. The same movement might be used in 30 or more models. So with the case stamped "L1" it would be a 1951 with a replaced movement.

Case is definitely stamped L1, so updating record to 1951, noting that the movement is likely a replacement if it is stamped L5.
