Watch Description

This watch had a pretty long life... We have a few ads showing it as the "Lieutenant" in 1941.  Later we have a 1945 ad for the "Bruce B", and then also in 1945 it was called the "Cadet B".  In 1946 we have several ads from major dept store catalogs continuing the name "Cadet B".  So.... I think we have a 1946 Bulova "Cadet B" here in "red" or "rose" gold.

Are you not dating the watch by the case serial to 1948?

Yeah I think we can put it at 1948,  but the case numbers started getting hinkey in the late 40's and not as accurate.  I just figured the '46 might be the safest, but I am cool with 1948 if the panel agrees.  I did see we had the Cadet advertised even in 1949 so... '48 would be in line.

1948 Bulova Cadet B. Until date codes appear on case backs S/N is best to use.
