Watch Description

This guy turned out pretty sweet.  I believe we have a 1945 Bulova "Air Warden",

Noting all the ads we have for the Air Warden in the white dial, the seconds tracks do not touch the outter minutes ring, while in the black dial they do.

Little guy looks to be sporting a fresh redial as the daily had the little notch at 12 o'clock.  Looks to have NOS hands as well.

Agree it looks to be a 1945 Bulova Air Warden with a redial.

Air Warden looks like a match and agree with the redial.  Great model!

Plains does the dial have the V notch to confirm a redial? With a redial you'd expect that it would closely replicate the original. That's not the case here for a few reasons. I'm more leaning to a dial swap. The white dial version all have the same square number font, with the black dial versions using the same font we have with your watch. Plus there's that inner circle which we don't see on any other examples.

Having said all that, this could just be the latest version of the Air Warden from 1945/46 as the other examples we have are all pre 1945.

With a case serial starting with 6 and a 1945 movement, are we better off ID'ing as a 1946 Bulova Air Warden?
