Here is an easy one. This is a 1944 Bulova Military Issue Ordinance Department watch. It has a 10AK movement with 15 jewels and a circle date code. It has a dust / Magnetize protector cover for the movement. The dial is black with lumed hour markers and lumed hands. (I relumed them) The watch needed a lot of work but came out nice. I had no more straps so I made my own out of scrap leather. Need to work on improving my stitching but it works for what I needed.
Based on previous ID's I would tag this one
1944 Military Issue 10AK
Nice job on this one. I have to ask, what is the curious "phantom hand" pointing at the "3"? Is that a radium burn or a play of light? it's interesting and gives it character. I like the watch and the obvious signs of wear pointing to it's service, rather than being a "sock drawer watch".
