Watch Description

This looks like a Bulova Senator to me. The date code (stylized T) that is stamped on the movement according to the seller's photo (I have not personally opened the watch yet) suggests a 1942 fabrication date.

2 being the first numeral of the Case serial number also indicates a production Date of 1942, matching the Movement Datecode.

1942 'SENATOR'

and a nice one.

This was the only one of my Bulova watches that I purchased with a known functional issue. The seller had reported that it was running very fast. By the time I received it, it would only run for a few ticks at a time. I was a bit nervous about it, but am pleased to report that, thanks to Mike Cousineau's (our member Timemachines) attention, it is now working well again. This is one of seven watches I recently had serviced by Mike (a large fraction of my collection; he also worked on my ~1952 President, also listed here).
