Wow now that's a unique looking Bulova. Might that be a Director? Love what ever that is you used for a background in the photo.

Case looks non-Bulova.  Specifically, the lugs are wider than anything I'm familiar with.  Index style Seconds Hand paired with Modern Hour and Minute Hands are a second 'Red flag' on this one.  Third strike is the block of color below the Bulova insignia. It appears someone may have obscured the word 'movement' from the Dial face.

Frankenbully IMO.  ML

I agree with 5thAve.  Looks like an after market case.

Probably so ..... but Bulova did produce a case like this and the timelines about right. Dial is a redial for sure and I think the scratched out portion below the Bulova signature surely said "movement" indicating this is a recase.

This one, if it is genuine Bulova would have the caseback with the appropriate makings and the whole case would be gold filled.

A stainless steel back is a dead giveaway to a aftermarket recase.

This one is non-conforming. Someone has painted over the word "movement" on the dial under "Bulova". The dial and case are aftermarket parts.
