Preliminary diagnosis would be a 1930 Sky King. The movement is a 17 J 10AN, consistent with others in the database. The date code is an omega (1930). The case is marked "Bulova AAA Quality" with a patent date of Jan, 11, 1927. The watch runs and keeps time. Its as I bought it. It could be my imagination but the dial looks to me like its been restored. The style is OK but if you look closely some of the letters and numbers look just a little blotchy at the corners and some of the lines are just a tad uneven in width and not quite level.
Can't argue with a perfectly matching advert. I was initially thinking the dial was incorrect, but alas the advert confirms it is correct.

Note the case stamp 'AAA'. I've seen this on a few cases. My understanding is that it is the highest gold filled quality they made. Maybe it was a time period requirement where gold content labelling had certain restrictions or requirements. Anyone has any knowledge or through on the 'AAA' stamp?
