Bulova 23 Crown

Submitted by red clubbie on March 13, 2024 - 5:59pm

Hi Guys,

I've just bought a 1954 Bulova 23 and it is missing the crown.

Would anyone be able to help me as to what my options are as to finding a replacement?

If I can't find an original signed one, would anyone know what are the size dimensions for a generic replacement.

Thanks,

Geoff.

Hi red clubbie. You didn't provide a lot of information about your watch. Looking at all the other 1954 Bulova 23's we have in the data base it seems they all have a Bulova 10BPAC movement. Then referencing the Bulova ABC interchangeable parts catalog, I came up with this. You didn't say if you were needing the white or yellow crown so they are both highlighted in a yellow rectangle. Hope this helps you find one.

I'm sorry for the lack of information......my fault.

The movement is a 10BOAC and it is a 10 Kt gold case with "fancy lugs".

From your diagram would that be a 137? Also, what does that number reference?

I appreciate the help.

Cheers,

Geoff.
