This ad is out of the "Philadelphia Inquirer, Saturday Morning, April 21, 1906" The key is the American Standard Watch Company. My thoughts are that since Bulova owned the American Standard Watch Case Company in 1916, wonder if there was an earlier company they purchased or if this was a trade name they started using. The official Biography of the company is that Bulova started selling watches in 1907, is it possible they started in 1906? Was this possibly a trade name they were using at the time? I have my doubts but an interesting ad.
