by 1948/49 we see a much weaker coorelation between first digit of case serial numbers and year of production, as some cases were marked with "48".
For this Arnold, what do folks think about dating on case SN vs movement code? ...I can't see from the picture if there's a "48" code on the movement, but Im guessing there is?
