Hello I'm in need of the blued sweep seconds hand, anyone have one for sale?
thank you.
Bulova lists that as part #641 for the chrono. But they later use that part # again for a spring in an automatic calendar movement (don't remember which movement it was an 11 something).http://<a href='http://postimg.org/image/kk1rtqtg3/full/' target='_blank'><img src='http://s21.postimg.org/kwt5zxbpz/IMG_0487.jpg' border='0' alt="IMG 0487" /></a><br /><a target='_blank' href='http://postimage.org/'>upload image free</a><br /><br />

If it helps, you can always blue a hand to match, if it is the same type. You have to strip the original plating and polish it by hand, and then carefully blue it on a hand bluing pan.

Thank god for that, I thought it was going to be hard... :-)
You make it sound so easy Rob, but I've watched videos on heat blueing, and not only do you need a really steady/quick/accurate hand, but a pretty good sense of timing too. Too long it goes purple, not long enough it goes brown. And we aren't talking a long time either!
Knowing the sizes would help, as none of the hands I have fit.

Here goes another impossible one! The one button chrono crown? Mine is rusted and does not function properly , actually the two other crowns I have are also in the same shape, maybe a comon issue? Still anyone out there have one? Or a part number I can search! Thanks guys,
happy new year!!!

If you look at my one-button, and JP's example, both have this type of crown fitted.
Daca sent me mine , as Ofrei wanted nearly forty dollars to ship a ten-dollar watch crown!
I have seen another, Lisa's square 1942 one-button chrono has one fitted, and one sold on ebay that was fitted with the "square" type one button crown in the link I posted.
Is it worth a few dollars to try? Of course it is, and they work too!
