One more, just one more....This one I re-discovered the other day, it dates back to when I was in watchmaking school. I was unhappy with the poor condition of the dial, so I refinished it in white as you can see. I had no way to reproduce the Bulova logo, so I left it this way. The blue screws were also by me, I blued every screw on every watch I worked on for a couple of years, I finally stopped because it is silly and time consuming...
Anyway, another in a series of Watertite-like watches, deep caseback with tension ring and upper bezel friction fitting together. I think it is actually a good design, other than the fact that you can disassemble it with your fingers, not necessarily a good thing.
Famous last words from every watch collector everywhere - "One more, just ne more". Nice try try Rob.
I'm maybe a bit surprised that you were taught refinishing in school, I must say, it has held up well. The blued screws are dandy, I like that touch. You must have been very proud of the results you achieved with this one.
I'm challenged by the "blank" dial, I'm having a hard time matching anything. I hate to say it but it's trending to Unknown at my house right now. Still looking though, still looking.
