Watch Description

The watch closely resembles the 1949 "Lady Excellency "UU"", and also resembles some of the Goddess of Time models-- though the Lady Excellency is the only model I have come across with the hexagonal embellishments around the two diamonds.

The watch came with a fuchsia velvet case; I don't know if this assists in identifying the item.

The LE 'UU' is also listed as 14K gold case. What is the subject watch?

It is 10k gold filled. Are there similar 'lady excellency" models that are gold filled? Thanks!

Hi elysiumarie, welcome to myBulova. What a great find! As far as history, we might not find an ID but just think, it's 65 years old this year, think of all the places it's been, all the stories it could tell.

I'm torn on the ID, I'm thinking unknown too.

How was a date of 1949 determined for this watch? The case serial number starts with a "C", which is probably a mis-stamped "0". Is it possible it's a 1940 model?
