Welp, I thought I'd submit this one because A. its beautiful, at least to me and B. I can't figure out which f the seemingly endless similar looking models to call it. The movement appears to be 1945 with the case being 1947. Here's my breakdown of the full ads on the site.
1. All of these are 15J. No help there. 2, I don't have the original band so no help there either. But FWIW, virtually all of the Cadets were expansion, all of the Lieutenants were leather, all of the early Rangers were bracelets with the later ones being leather, all of the Bruces were expansion. 3. All of the Rangers were yellow, ruling this out 4. Tentatively all of the Lieutnant ads are pre-1945. I only looked at the full ads (which was enough work for one morning). This doesn't rule it out but IMO it makes this less likely. I am therefore at a point where I would tentaively call this either a Bruce or a Cadet. Even though I really *want* to call it a Lieutenant as they were all rose gold with rose gold watch faces. Frankly I can't tell the difference.
Nice watch, I have a soft spot for rose gold. Based on case s/n and this previous discussion (confirmed by your comparison table),

I'm going to say 1947 Bruce "B"

Based on this advert I'd agree that the subject watch is a 1947 Bulova Bruce.
