OK, I'll go with Bruce B as well...

Is it just me, or do these two pictures look like exactly the same watch? The minute hand is in a slightly different position, but note how the chapter ring seems to touch the upper right edge of the case, near the '1' in both pictures. Is that really a different band? Granted, it does appear slightly narrower on the right.

BRUCE twice, twice CADET, so how do you see :)

The band originally sold with the Watch may have been the determining factor in the Model Name although to Me the lugs of the 'BRUCE' "B" appear different.

Cadet "A" is yellow gold.

The Bruce "B" (Bruce "A" shown below) is the best match for the time period, colour and style.

I know my vote doesn't count but id say a "Bruce B"

'BRUCE' "A" is Yellow.

'BRUCE' "B" is Red

'CADET' "C" is Yellow

'CADET' "B" is Red.

According to the descriptive text in both 1946 ads referenced in the thread.

The bracelets they were originally sold on are the only descerning factor.

'Matching expansion bracelet' vs 'Matching semi-expansion and tan Pigskin Leather band'.

Who is on first......

When I look at the detailed descriptions of the ad, I noticed one more little thing.

CADET back case is white metal, while the back case of BRUCE is a steel.
Due to the fact that on the inside of that case is  "stainless back" I would say that this really must be "BRUCE B"

"White metal", "Steel" and "Stainless Steel" are one and the same jabs.

Either or would be the correct ID, the thread has documented the Model differences.
