It looks like it is in pretty good shape, just a tiny bit of wear-through on the case back (or reflection) and a slight smudge on the dial.

Case looks like the Commentator from the ad that Stephen provided, but its a 17J instead of 15J.

I like that dial!

I'm a sucker for this black/gray/white dial as well.  This one always gets me... and this is the first version of it I've owned!  This watch has really cleaned up nicely and I do believe I'm keeping it.

Certainly has the same case as the Commentator.

This is becoming ever more draining trying to identify these variations in dial design.

Yeah, especially when at times the dial variation dictates the name of the watch.  IE Blackout... the Blackhawk.... the Air Warden....

I voted "Non-Confirmed", 1 tick, because the only element that appears to match the ad is the case. Dial, hands and jewel count are different.

I'm at two ticks tentative as ID'ed, and didn't notice the jewel count of watch doesn't match the ad.

Take a smiggen of "Brasso" (careful now) and a Q-Tip and smear around edges of Case Back making sure it gets into all the tiny holes, crevices and wear through. Let stand a minute, wipe away or use low speed dremel polishing tool. That horrible green scum will be gone! And restores GF nicely. Do not heavy polish as Brassing will happen. Wonderful Dial, great example of pre-Deco Movement.. Skyscaper Case. Congrats!
