Amazing ad from 1918 regarding a supply of 200 Bulova trench watches available for WWI soldiers. This predates the Bulova history on this site that says wristwatches were introduced in 1919.
Wonderful advert. I think we have seen this one before, but this advert seems clearer.
We know that Bulova were certainly producing ladies watches as early as 1916/17, but the mens wrist watches really didn't start to show in adverts until 1922.
What I like about this advert is the 'J. Bulova Co.' naming which predates their company name change of 1923.
I would be amazing to be able to identify what case and movements were used.
