Hi DiamondBlue, welcome to myBulova. Jaroslav is correct, the date code (L7) on the back of the case denotes a 1957 watch. We would have you double check the movement date code if possible. Many of our 1957 adverts show this watch, this one shows it best. Our primary goal at myBulova is to help identify watches for our members, matching them to adverts that show names and details. Unfortunately we cannot give appraisals.
Upon verification of the movement date code I would suggest the ID for watch to be -
1957 Bulova LaPetite C

You folks so correct. The 1947 was a typo & thank you for catching it. The other one I have , I don't have photosaof yet but it is earlier I believe, but I haven't ever seen a crystal like it features. It looks like this....^ with what appears to be beveled edges.

Welcome DiamondBlue! I concur with Jaroslav and Geoff. Pending verification of movement date code, it's going to be either a
1957 La Petite "C" with a correct movement date code (2 digit "L6, L7 or L8")
or Non-conforming (marked with circle indicating a movement swap)
Welcome DiamondBlue! It is always great to be able to see all the components of the watch to fully ID it. The backs on the ladies watches are pretty easy to pop off. If you are comfortable doing so it would be wonderful if you can add a photo of the movement and the inside of the case back in the comments so we can see them. I think the crystal you are describing for the other watch magnifies the small face for easier reading.
1957 La Petite "C" for now pending seeing the movement date code.
