Thanks,
the Watch is a massive chunk of Stainless and the strap was a major concern, a tough choice.
Manufactured by IW Suisse it's 22mm x 5mm thick Black Oil tanned Leather, Orange contrast stitched finished with a Stainless Steel tang Buckle. Chrono style.
I looked for some time for something suitable, the Hirsch 'Extreme' caoutchouc Rubber strap is a little out of budget but was choice #1, if I keep the Watch it may come eventually and is available in solid Orange which would be a blast....(currently $95 - $135 depending where You shop)

I'm not sure what the Watch came on originally as there are no images to reference, the Leather 'works' for now.

I'm good with Snorkel, but did note the minor difference in movement - Fifth's watch 11AOACD and the supporting document snippet (again below) showing 11AOACB.
Fifth, do you also have access to "page 67"? Good slouthing...and I can't imagine the day/date vs. what ever the endign B in 11AOACB stands for would constitute a different ID than Snorkel.
I've got a nicely humming ladies (N3) Accutron Snorkel with a great rotating bezel, (and at least mine has snorkel on the dial), so they used this 666ft Snorkel designation for several years. I suspect there may be a unique model name (or number) for both Fifth's subject watch and my 1973 "Snorkel", but for now....I'm good with Snorkel rather than Oceanographer.
