Admin If there is a unique model name, or unique model series name for the 666 ft Chrono's (as the hang tag suggests for subject watch -Bulova Deep Sea Chronograph B ) then it would be no surprise for a variant C in the generic Chrono (non-666 ft) to pre-date a B variant in another model series.
I would think there is a Chrono 'A', 'B' and 'C' and a Deep Sea Chrono 'A', 'B' and 'C'.

The Case design being the differentiating factor or does the Chrono 'C' also have a Super Compressor type Dive Case depth rated to 666'?
Easy one to find out. The Brevet company sold the rights to use Super Compressor technology to about 23 different watch manufacturers, and the patent number(s) for use, usually accompanied by a little insignia, were somewhere on the watches which used one of the three technologies.
