I have one of these with the 21 jewel movement and I always thought it was a Beau altough every other one I have seen was identified as a Diamond Excellency.Maybe the year of production has something to do with it.I know there's an ad on Watchophilia naming this as a Beau.Maybe the DE has the 17 jewel movement.Just speculating eh.

Is the movement dated N0? Also, the lugs look much wider than the narrow ones in the ad.

Just a movement change, new one has 23 jewels as opposed to 21 in ads.

BB 'I'.

BB "I" works mvent jewel count diff noted.

There is only one BB "I" in the Spring 1964 price lists (out of 85 BB variants).  The price is $175.

I'm in for BB no variant three ticks.  I'd go one tick not confirmed if its ID'ed as the "I" variant.  I think its more than a case of "we don't konw if its yellow or white...".  See this record for why I think this.
