Additional Information:

I think this is a Marquise of some type, still checking the ads.

It is a 14K white gold case with 18 very nice diamonds. The settings are undercut so light can penetrate properly up through the table from the side, the pics do not do this justice. I suspect there may have been a matching bracelet for this watch.

The 6C is from the Felsa 81 ebauche.

Checked all the ads but nada. My gut still thinks it's a Marquise, but also could be a Petite maybe.

That's a dandy little watch Rob. It's amazing that so much design can be packed into such a tiny package.

I agree that she wants to be Marquise (who wouldn't?) but am looking as well.

I feel that I've seen an advert for this, or something very much like it recently, and think you're on the money with it being a Marquise. Re-checking what I've searched over the last few days.

Assume the movement is stamped L7?

There are no markings inside the case, but I have found that the solid gold ones deviate from what we normally see in Bulova cases. I'm basing the 1957 production date on the movt, which is stamped L7. Does the case serial indicate '58?

Hard to say with these 14K cases. Let's say it does for now :-)
