Leather strap. Would appreciate feedback on history & current market value.
Your watch is a Cadet model. We have one already in our database. To get an accurate age of your watch, the movement date symbol is required. To see the movement, the watch backcase must be opened. Date symbol information is available at the top of this page by clicking on the Information tab and clicking Bulova Date Codes. Date codes on the page are self-explanitory. This watch was available from the mid 1940's to early 1950's. The watch is very common.
As far as value goes, condition is the key to high value. Looking at your watch, the dial looks dirty. The second hand is missing. Therefore, I would think your watch does not function properly. You can monitor a watch like yours on eBay and guestimate the value of your watch.

I noticed your 1920 corrected to 1936. 1936 is too early for this watch, if the movement has a square symbol it is a 1946 dated movement.
