To my favorite Horological Hall Monitor.
Here is the eBay auction data.
Here's another GORGEOUS one folks... Up for bid we have a 1940s BULOVA "PRINCETON" Mens Wristwatch!!
Wayne are you sure this is a Princeton? The case and dial are quite different from what we see in the adverts, unless this is an earlier model.

Is there an ad to show this Watch as a "first edition" 'PRINCETON', or did Joseph Bulova come to You in Your sleep?
the only ad currently on site for the mid 40's (1946) 'PRINCETON' shows a Watch Case with quite different Lugs and a different Dial to the Watch You are showing.
The correct ID for this Watch is 'UNKNOWN'.

Have you been given the authority to change the star voting rules. Have you been appointed Horrological Hall Monitor or something? Have you been given authority to change my watch from 1943 Princeton to Unknown? I understood that was a panel perogitive. Furthermore, just because my 1943 Bulova Princeton watch is not shown in an ad, does not mean it is not a Bulova Princeton. This kind of situation goes to show you that one person cannot possibly know everything about Bulova watches.
Once again, Fifth, you speak out with narrow mind and focus and you also have been wrong on many counts. As Wayne say's, Ebay seller " timerestoration "seems to think so on item # 170622151814 and his case is stamped Bulova. I'd ask him his source for his ID, oops, I just noticed the item goes back to April. I certainly would not go so far as 3 stars as continued research is in order.
Shawn,
Yes Sir, I most definately will speak out, not so much with narrow mind as You thoughtfully put it but with absolute focus, some call it passion and it promotes healthy discussion, lol. which hopefully then will be viewed, critiqued and assessed by Collectors of today and of future generations.
IMO a 1 star site rating of 'not confirmed' does not shine any light on the fact that an ID could be/is totally wrong.
I notice the outer back of the Case is stamped Bulova, is the inside? (which, if it is still would not account for a bezel swap) and where is the basis for this ID?
Two very simple questions.
