The following marks are on the back of the watch:
At the top; BULOVA with '14K' inside a rectangle underneath
At the bottom; O53659
I don't really like to try and open the back to look at movement marks, in case I do something to damage the watch.
On the inside of the very delicate folding clasp are the following marks:
PONTIAC V40-10K and other really rather small lettering which I can't quite make out.
I believe the watch to be white gold, with 2 small diamonds and 16 smaller ones embellishing around the watch face.
Any help in identifying this watch will be gatefully appreciated!

Hi, I've looked through all the ads from 1937 to 1960 and no matches. The closest thing I could find is the 1939 Beverly. Bad thing is that Beverly has 20 diamonds. Worth taking a look to see the similarities and also worth looking at your watch under magnifacation to see if there are tiny diamonds all around the bezel / crystal.

Thank you.
It's the closest so far, but the strap isn't the same - mine has a white gold link bracelet, rather than the strap shown on the ad. But would it be possible for a different style strap to have been fitted before purchase? It is definitely a Bulova strap and I would strongly suggest is the original for this watch.
I think it may be wise for me to go to a reputable watchmaker/restorer to perhaps get them to look inside the watch case and give me the markings on the inside, so it can be researched further from that angle?
Could anyone suggest a suitable reputable vintage jeweller/watchmaker in East Anglia (UK), that might be able to help me?
