Ok so another ladies model, Im sure this is the "trained nurse" as I can find it in the adverts:
However the omega for the year 1940 is throwing me off as I only see this watch from 1947 and on. This ad happens to be 1947 and when I removed the back case I was very suprised. This watch looks like it has never been worn. The dial face is clean and bright, even the box and booklet with it look good. If anyone would like me to take pictures of the paperwork or booklet please let me know and I will upload them.
Very nice old Bulova. It seems like a six or seven year movement difference might be a stretch but a ladies watch with a sweep second hand was not so common in this era. I did find this advert from 1942 showing it as Miss Air Warden. With the 1940 date on the movement it seems more likely.
