1947 Aviator "B"
How were we able to distinguis between the "A" and "B" or between the two different "B" vairants? I don't remember. I think it was unique price of $33.75? Checking now. At least 4 Aviators in January 1955 pirce list, and if these are cross-referenced in other lists, it often gives gold color and sometimes dial configuration/color. Note the "A" and "B" have identical model numbers (31549) but different prices. This may suggest the cases were the same, and differences are in dial configurations or even in the mount/strap/bracelet. There is another "B" with a different unique model number and different price (31593), but it has a higher price that the ad Jabs uses.
There's the only two unique model numbers from 1955 (below) for four different watches.
I'm good with tentative Aviator "B" ($33.75), while checking for an ad for "B" with the price of $37.50.

In reply to Will thank you, as always by jabs
Thanks Jabs...its not perfect, as I get a little long winded and redundant. Its harder and takes more time to write short and succinct....so I sometimes babble :) I didn't take the time to do screen snippets of various parts of the price lists, but the info is in the lists.
