Denis - did you find anything in the data base to match it against?

I have tried looking through the ads but can't find anything like it,but we don't have that many ads from the 70's.It probably only has a numeral designation and not a proper name.

Just checked the 70's watches in the database and there's one just like it identified as a generic Clipper.(1977)

It's pretty close but not quite the same. The gold part of the bezel is thinner.

Right now I lean toward Unknown but might consider a tentative Clipper. Here's the watch you're comparing it to:

Tentative 1977 Clipper

Yeah, by late 70s we see more model numbers instead of model names, but there are still ads showing names like Clipper, Oceanographer, and Buccaneer. This one does resemble those in the Clipper Collection, but no exact match found...going along with similar watches in the database and the dial elements, this could be given a tentative Clipper id.

Yea this time period has lots of numbered watches similar to earlier watches with names.  I'm leaning towards unkown, but will check more of the clipper collection ads and examples.

I see the difference in the bezels now, back to the drawing board.

I'd guess Clipper at this point, but without a matching ad, unknown for now.

Found in the 1977-1979 Linebook BAWD0213 page 117 in the JC Penney catalog listed as model reference 2507.  Also on page 44 there is a listing as model 11674. We do not have a precedent for naming watches by this model number but adding it.
