Watch Description

Here is an unusual one in a 2 tone case that I have never seen before. I purchased it as part of a lot of dresser drawer watches with no bands. Front appears to be a brushed stainless insert; while sides, back side and ring around crystal are gold plate. Face is gold in color with gold markers. Movement appears to be all gold plated as well. Back is dated N5 and movement is dated N4. Case measures 46mm across not counting crown and crystal is 33.5mm. Band is a replacement - not Bulova. Is this a 70's number designated unnamed model?

Possibilities: Clipper series with day and date, automatic movement.

You may be right, I considered Clipper series, but this one being a 23J with marked dial didn't seem to fit. If they were offered in 17 or 23, it's possible this is variant less advertised. The ad showing a 2 tone Clipper D helps.

There are not many ads for the 1970s, and even fewer with 23 jewels; with what we have I cannot find a match. The Buccaneer model line could be a possibility. Is there a 'Swiss' under the 6 marker? Doesn't appear to be, and this may be one made in Asia. Also, what is the case number shown inside the caseback?

I'm stumped on this one too. Unknown for now.

I'm still at Unknown on this one

The dial looks like the President series of around the same time. There's that one with the yellow stripe and the other with a blue stripe I think?

Found your watch in the 1974-1975 Line book BAWD0192-3 page 286 of 434.  No name just model number.   You should note that the top is missing a brown aluminum insert that would have covered the brushed stainless area of the bezel. I can see where it is recessed and would have gone..
