On the inside of the watch by the gears it looks like there is an "x" and a "-" symbol that are right next to each other. The back case says 10K Rolled Gold Plate. My Mom believes my Grandmother purchased this in 1975. This belonged to my Grandmother who has since passed away and my Mom and I were curious to get more information on this piece.
Hello Marissa, welcome to myBulova. I think you're most fortunate to have this wonderful little keepsake from your grandmother. Watches, like other jewelry are such personal items, they elicit a lot of emotion. It looks like grandma took good care of it. If you plan to wear it, please have it professionally cleaned and oiled regularly. There is no reason this beauty shouldn't last a couple more generations.
I agree with Jaroslav (jabs) that we would call this one an "Unknown" model. As you can see in the thread he linked to, we can't find an advert to support a model name. It's date is close to the time Bulova stopped giving their products proper names and only had model reference numbers.
To be sure of the date, the letter number combination on the case back, is it N5 or N6?

I've gone through the adverts as well and found no match. La Petite always comes to mind with diamonds and 23 jewels, but there were other models with those characteristics. This watch does appear to be N5 or N6, so 1975/76 would be the right date. It is a nice watch that you are fortunate to have passed down. A movement service and a nice cleaning and it should look and work nicely.
