Watch Description

Pretty excited about this one. All stainless steel with a basket weave dial that fades from blue to grey. Watch and original band are literally perfect and it is is keeping perfect time. This was another of those "what the heck is that?" watches......had to have it.

I found it in the 1974 LinebookBAWDO190. Unfortunately, it's one of the linebooks that gives only a stock number and not a name.

I suspect this one did indeed have a name, it's just a matter of finding it.

Seller didn't think it was ever worn. If it wasn't for a little bit of crud on the spring bars, I would agree. I haven't attempted to remove the back for fear of marring the case. I seriously doubt it has ever been opened.

Sweet watch. I've had several '74 models that can only be identified by the model number. Seems around this time the names started disappearing.

Looks like NOS to me and that basket weave dial is a stunner, congrats!!

Thanks, Kathy! Coming of age in the mid 70's, I've always had a bit of a weakness for the "clunky chunky" 70's watches and have started paying a little closer attention to them. This was one I had never seen before and didn't find in the database; so, well.........you understand :o)

Feeling either a Jet Star, or Golden Clipper/Clipper variant.

Love that dial weave. Has a carbon-fibre kind-a-feel.
