The Case has the number 295592 and N4 on the back. The front face has Bulova and Swiss on it. I don't want to open the watch however I did windit and it keeps perfect time. Any information with regards to the watch would be greatly appreciated. Tank you  Regards from Vermont

What a wonderful inheritance and it great shape too.   This watch I believe is a 1974 Diadem based on the 1974 Line Book BAWD0190 "Diadem" page 62.  I am not sure of the variant but will look a little deeper to see if I can find it in other resources.    It looks like the original black cord was replaced with an optional 14kt gold cord bracelet which is a nice touch.

I posted the above watch with the black cord a few years ago. It was my moms and inherited as well, it is so beautiful as is yours. This group as been so helpful, even years since my original post they have kept digging and just recently sent some new information which they shared with you above.  Enjoy your watch.

Good Morning Debbie, Thank you for your reply with regards to my mom's watch.  I understand that the Bulova team does not comment on value. I have no intentions of selling this heirloom  however I'm intrested to know it's value as purchased in 1974. Did you have your valued by chance or know the value back in 74. Everything now days is battery operated and / or digital. Lovely to see and mechanical time piece with such wonderful attention to detail.  Regards from Vermont

Good morning Debbie, I hope this thread finds you well. It's been 3 years since my last post and unfortunately mom has passed. We all agree that the the watch is a wonderful memento it would be better served to be sold and the return used for something that would better serve her memory.  I an very interested in getting the best price and to the best dealing group.  Can you suggest where I can get is valued or a guess of it's value based on your piece! Warm regards from Vermont. Jim P aka Harley01

I found another linebook reference that shows both the wholesale and retail cost of the watch back in 1974. Retail was $675 (that equates to about $4,096 in todays money).
