1973 Bulova 'Minute Man' Day/Date 23j Automatic N3 mvmnt / N3 case. Stainless w/ non-original Stainless bracelet. Although not original, the bracelet looks like it was made for it and IMO looks better that the original. This watch was a junk bin resurrection. When found the case was heavily scratched, the crystal was cracked, the mvmnet did not run, the stem was inoperable and not secure in the mvmnt. A watchmaker friend of mine with 30yrs experience was able to bring it back to life as good as new. This one sits on the top shelf of my collection and is the most common daily wear. I just love it. The blueish green dial changes appearance in different lighting which fun to catch. Kind of disappointed to pop the case and see Tiawan on the case back...Boo Bulova, just Boo. oh well, it is what it is. cant fixate on that.
Nice save!
Found it in 1973-1974_LineBook_BAWD0183
It appears that there is no variant letter, instead the differentiation is stock number. 11007-2W being white w/blue dial. It appears that in 1973/74 there were 2 variations in this case/face configuration. Yellow w/shaded brown dial and stainless with blue shaded dial.
