Watch Description

The brushed finish gold plated case measures 40 mm lug tip to lug tip x 37 mm wide not including the signed crown x 20mm inside lug / strap width. The brushed metallic silver finish dial has a combination of applied gold / black two tone hour markers with lume pips to the outside, as well as the Bulova 30 Automatic signature and minute track printed in black. The lumed baton style hour and minute hands are gold / black two tone. There is no second hand which is correct for the 12 EBA micro rotor movement which is based on the Buren 1280 movement. The screw down stainless steel caseback is stamped Bulova N2.

Import codes should be on the balance bridge.

I looked very closely and didn’t see a code on the balance bridge. As mentioned previously “SX” is inscribed on the movement below/near the balance wheel which I don’t think is an import code. I have a higher resolution picture of the movement from the opposite direction and a picture of the inside of the caseback but I can’t post them after the info was initially published.

I also found it interesting that the case back is stamped N2 (1972) while the movement is stamped M8 (1968).

It appears my watch is relegated to the purgatory of being an unknown model. Unless it’s maybe an international model. Curious if there are any other thoughts.
