Watch Description

This watch belongs to my husband Daryl who is 70 years old. He got it when he was 24 years old. The back of his watch is so worn I had to use a 10x magnifying glass to read the numbers and does say Bulova,  Stainless Steel. It is a Bulova Automatic 23 Jewels and still works! He  changed watch bands many times.Self winding date and day watch. Could it be the The "Mens Lib Watch" Version 2 ( IMAGE 12 OF 27) on the watch Ads?

Looks like part of the Clipper series. Need to find a 23J version.

Is there a clipper with 23 jewels?  Thought it might be the” Mens Lib Watch”. Version 2 on the Ad found on Image 12 of the 1972 watches.  It has same face and 23 jewels.

Mens Lib wasn't a model name just an advertising slogan that went hand-in-hand with a similar advert for women.

I think this is the advert you're referring to Vickie? It is similar but the watch in this ad is a 17 jewel Clipper. We don't think Clipper was available in a 23 j movement. I haven't seen anything yet to match it to but we'll keep looking!

Unfortunately it would seem to be Unknown for now with the 23 jewel movement.

Looks like a Clipper, but too many jewels..... Alas, I am at unknown as well.
