Very funky 1972 Automatic Bulova Watch.  I've seen the original bracelet and it's blue/white/black stripes and looks fantastic with this watch.

Haha.... this was a lot of 10 watches I picked up last week.  There's a nice Chief needs a redial, and a President in great shape, a Dean that some horses@ss used a pliars on the lugs and really ruined the watch, that black dial military type watch I have under the 1948 Unknown, a few other 50's-60's as well as a Bulova box branded from Canada which is pretty cool.

Plains

Looks like you are gonna need an adapter for your 1/2 inch breaker bar to open the back! LOL

Didn't we find an ad or some tentative ID for this watch?  I know it's not the "Clipper AQ" seen in this 1972 ad (http://www.mybulova.com/sites/default/files/vintage_ads/Bulova_AD_1972_4.jpg), nor one of the 1973 Jet Star series ad seen at http://www.mybulova.com/sites/default/files/vintage_ads/bulova-1973-Jetstar.jpg .  ...and I can't find any ID for similar watches in the database.  I seem to remember we ID'ed this watch somehow....

Plains...do you have the jewel count or any other info on this beauty?

NOVA  I just found it on your site too.  It's a great resource- to be able to go to your watch collection, then choose a decade of watches, and see all watches from that decade displayed on one page.  It simplifies comparisons.  The watch pictures are all taken from the same camera angle, they are comparable in size, etc... so it's easy to see similarities and differences between the models.  I like it!     Thanks for putting it together!
