Watch Description

M9 black dial winder, with date, this watch belonged to my stepfather. I also have his Surfmaster, which I'll add later. The caseback is stamped "Japan" on the inside. Is this a Clipper, a Sea King, or something else? There aren't many ads for "plain" watches in the database.

Thanks, TQ

1969 Bulova Sea King. I'm nominating "CP" variant, but have yet to find a matching advert.

White dial version is the "CO"

I could not find a match; and around this time these could fall under the Clipper, Golden Clipper, Sea King lines.

I'm at Unknown, but tentative Sea King

I'm also at tentative Sea King pending ad confirmation.

Is the Japan case a clue as to which model it might be, or was Bulova sourcing a lot of cases from Japan at that time?
