Looks like it should be a Date King, but it's only 23 jewels. Textured bezel front , Champagne  face and gold markers. Luminous hands and dots at hour indices.Date window at "4" position. Case back is also gold plated.

Back marked .0015 gold electroplate bezel, anti-magnetic, self winding, water resistant, 10K rolled gold plate back, Bulova  and M9.

Face marked Automatic and 23 Jewels.

I opened this up when I first got it (about a year ago) to verify date code and jewel count matched, but don't remember the mvt model. This one has me stumped.

We currently have 10 model variants ID'ed in the Db. They are A, E, M, NO, NQ, PA, PC, PG, PS, TT. There are also 20 watches that are identified as Date King, no variant.

The ad Stephen submitted previously ID's model variant "AK".

JimDon5822 just added new 1970 to 79 ads (12/06/18)  identifying 4 new models:

Date King "AQ",  "AJ", "NS"(date window at 4) , "NP". The "AQ" is in the same case as subject watch with different face and only 17J.

It would appear by the vast number of potential variant letter combinations that there were a lot more Date Kings in this time period (1964 - 1971) than we have positively identified through ads.

I still think this is an unidentified Date King. It bears too many DKing features and similarities to be a different model line.
