Watch Description

So this looks just like the '66 Date King, but not the same movement. The back has M9 so I'm guessing a 1969 Date King. Could not find the movement listed on Watchophilia database. 17 jewel 11 BLD, sub dial, 10k RGP and stainless back. I'm stumped. Thanks in advance to all the experts.

We have the 11BLD in our movement database.  Am I seeing an N1 date code on your movement?

I took a better picture of the movement and under UNADJUSTED SWISS it appears to be a M9. Is there a way to upload another image? Also the inside of the case back is marked 2125.

Nice watch Dane, classic style. I don't think the watch jabs linked to matches the ad used to ID it, the dial is different. The thing the throws me off on your watch is the sub seconds as opposed to sweep seconds, I didn't think Bulova was still using sub seconds this late in the decade. I really don't see a match to this beauty. I'm saying Unknown for now.

Well now that I look at the two watches and the ad (below), I see they all have the sub seconds and there is no sweep second in either watch or the ad.

Subject watch could be a dial variant of the Date King series.  Thanks for being persistant Jabs :)
