New Old Stock in period display case. Hang Tag Identifies as President - (X) but the letter is not readable. Case back marked .0015 Gold Electroplate Bezel 10k R.G.P back.

 The actual movement is a 17 Jewel 6CL... isn't a "PRESIDENT" supposed to have at least 21 jewels??

No, we have disproven that theory many times. Alot of them did come with 21J but there are certainly others that did not.

One very common thing I do see on the later model Presidents is the horizontal and vertical lines on the dial.

 Thanks admin for answering my question! I just looked closely at the hang tag. It does indeed say 17 Jewels. Not sure why it was assumed 21.

The hang tag typically gives the Jewel count.

So timemachines bought subject watch after it was first posted and confirmed it's a 17 jewel 6CL movement?
