Hi, Bulova Friends --
I fell into this ladies wristwatch. The case is marked M8 for 1968, with SN N40568. I haven't attempted opening it to see the movement ... it's a tiny timepiece, and it's running.
What strikes me is (1) the lovely detailed bracelet, and (2) the odd open lugs. As for (2), I'm wondering whether there was ornamentation that was removed at some time, leaving the frame.
Anyway, it's more a girl's First Communion watch than a lady's watch. The bracelet would fit a child's wrist only. I wish I could find the same bracelet that hasn't been so reduced in size!

This one looks to be the First Lady 'F' in white gold. I find ads for the 'E' and one NOS example with tag calling the white version the 'F'. There were other First Lady models using these variants, and all call for yellow as E and white as F. Based on all of this, I would be okay calling this the 'F' variant.
Band on yours does look to be original.
